The Black Echo: Harry Bosch Series Book 1 by Michael Connelly – 5/5

This book follows the exploits of Vietnam tunnel rat, turned police detective, Harry Bosch. It begins when the body of a tunnel rat is found in a pipe. Harry identifies it from a tattoo all the tunnel rat got back in Nam. From there he starts snooping. I was impressed with the writing and story as well as the twists and turns. I listened to the audiobook version. One of the best books I’ve read all year.
